Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Information We Collect:

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the UAC2 website. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

  • Nicknames
  • Email address
  • IP Address
  • Computer Hardware
  • Running Processes
  • A full screen image of your desktop

The Way We Use Information:

We use the information collected from our software in order to identify, spot and highlight cheaters in multiplayer online games. We do this by analysing your running processes against a list of known cheats, should these cheats be detected we use unique parts of your computer hardware in order to track your accounts so that league administrators and other community members know who the known cheaters are.

Unfortunately not all cheats are detectable by our automated systems. As such full screen images of your desktop are taken during the use of our software in order to identify wither or not you have any visual elements of cheats running within your game. These images that are taken are the sole responsibility of the user, should they breach any law in the users country the user which uploaded the screenshot is fully liable.
Should you have any issues with the information contained within the screenshots we provide users with the ability to highlight to administrators they wish the screenshot to be removed, we will action the users requests accordingly. Please note, should the screenshot contain no personal information and a cheat is visible we will ignore a users request for deletion.

Full screen images, hardware information and nicknames are shared across any and all users that wish to view them. This allows the community to have the proof they require that you are either a cheater or a fair playing member of the community.

Personal details, like running processes and IP addresses are shared with trusted members of the UAC2 community; these include UAC2 staff and approved league administrators from known community leagues.

We use email addresses to answer the email we receive and for user authentication (for example during login procedures). Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment To Data Security:

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy:

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13. Should a user account be found to be from a user under the age of 13 the account and all personal information will be deleted.
